SKIN DEFINE PEEL LEVELS
Level 1 : Lactic 10-Lactic 30, Glycolic 10-30 Gel Peels
Great for first time Gel Peel users, those with sensitive skin types and for skin maintenance. Also known as “light peels” or “lunchtime peels”, these are very superficial peels, which act on the outermost epidermal skin layers. They are fast and easy and they generally do not cause any visible peeling and have a much lower risk of irritation or possible side effects.
Level 2 : Lactic 40-50, Glycolic 40-50, Salicylic 15-30
This level is referred to as superficial peels. They are almost twice as strong compared to level 1 peels and visible peeling is sometimes possible depending on skin type, length of application, and number of layers applied. They are great for those with oily skin types, non-sensitive/ thickened skin, dull and rough smoker’s skin, or for those who need more correction, other than maintenance.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are Skin Define Gel Peels Just For The Face?
Skin Define Gel Peels can be carried out on any part of the body, including; the neck, décolletage, chest, back, shoulders, arms, hands and legs.
Are Chemical Peels At Home Safe?
Skin Define Gel Peels are buffered, superficial peels – which offer extremely safe and effective at home peeling treatments without the downtime of a more invasive peel you would have performed in a doctors clinic and at a fraction of the cost! Thousands of Skin Define peels have been sold world wide with no reactions. Our Gel Peels are often referred to as “light peels”, “lunchtime peels” and “superficial peels” as you can return to work or go about your day as normal, immediately after the peel.
The general rule of thumb is: the deeper the Peel, and lower the pH: the higher the risk of irritation and the longer the recovery time. Higher strength peels with lower pH levels are best left to doctors! All our peels are formulated in a registered laboratory and come complete with a detailed instruction card with pre and post peel care advice.
Are There Different Strengths Of Skin Peels Available?
Absolutely! There are 3 levels of skin peels available with Skin Define. If unsure please contact us and we will assist you in choosing the right peel for your skin condition.
WHY WE LOVE IT:
Are Chemical Peels At Home Safe?
Skin Define Gel Peels are designed to either gently polish or resurface the skin by inducing a safe-controlled exfoliation, removing the top, uppermost layers of the skin. This helps to increase new and healthier cell production to replace older cells.
Skin Define Gel Peels are enhanced with antioxidants to boost collagen growth and dramatically improve the appearance of the skin. Sun-damage, pigmentation, wrinkles, acne and scarring; may all be improved with our registered laboratory formulated Gel Peels. Skin Define’s Pre-Peel Primer, Post Peel Neutraliser and Pure Hyaluronic Serum are recommended for optimum results!
